Environmental Laboratory

Introduction

Our environmental analytical laboratory in Balatonfűzfő operates across three buildings with a total area of over 1,000 m². The laboratory has been continuously accredited by the Hungarian National Accreditation Authority for more than 20 years and performs over 65,000 laboratory tests annually.

The main scope of our services includes sampling surface water, groundwater, wastewater, waste materials, and soil as well as instrumental analysis. Our accredited sampling team provides flexible and rapid organization and response time.

Accredited laboratory services

Sampling

Thanks to our modern equipment and experienced staff, we are able to perform accredited, standard-compliant sampling from:

  • surface water,
  • groundwater,
  • wastewater,
  • geological media, and
  • waste materials.

General and inorganic chemical analyses

  • General soil and water chemical parameters, waste analyses,
  • Metal analyses using ICP-OES, ICP-MS,
  • Ion chromatography and photometric analyses.

Organic chemical analyses

  • Volatile aromatic hydrocarbons (BTEX),
  • Aliphatic and aromatic chlorinated hydrocarbons (VOCl),
  • Phenols and chlorophenols,
  • Total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH),
  • Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs),
  • Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
